Early breast cancer self-detection device

Early breast cancer self-detection device

In spite of the NHS breast screening programme, breast cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK. The lifetime risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer is 1 in 8 for women in the UK. *

A UK company has developed a novel device to aid in the early self-detection of breast cancer which enables women to feel more confident in progressing toward treatment. The product works by shining an infrared red light through the breast tissue. The light passes through the breast tissue and helps to reveal any abnormalities which could be linked to cancer.  The company is looking for agents and/or distributors in international markets.
