Thank you for the business

Sales director Jim Bidnall, MD David Littlechild and production director Daniel Littlechild

A £400,000 investment in new presses has brought an immediate dividend for a Norwich print firm.

The Really Useful Print Company has landed a contract to print 10.5 million promotional cards for one of Britain's biggest High Street names – and 1.5 million leaflet labels which will be attached to condiment bottles on behalf of another.

New presses include a five-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster with coater that enables the firm – which can trace its Norwich roots back 100 years – to print large format work to B2 size and at a much faster speed.

“This investment in state-of-the-art technology moves us up a division or two in the print league,” said managing director David Littlechild.

“It is going to carry RUPC forward for the next 10 years. We expect our turnover will have grown by 40 per cent to £1.2m in two years’ time.”
