City big hitter joins Barr Ellison in Cambridge

Cambridge law firm Barr Ellison has hired a City big hitter as new head of its growing and highly-rated personal injury team.

Emma Truin joins from Slater & Gordon to succeed Yasmin Ameer who has moved to Nockolds after five years at the helm. Truin has dealt with hundreds of serious and catastrophic brain, orthopaedic and spinal injury claims.

She is recognised for her experience in representing clients affected by brain injury and her client care skills are acknowledged within both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.

“Emma continues to draw praise from peers and counsel for her thorough and sympathetic handling of brain injury cases,” one market commentator states. ‘She is extremely switched-on, conscientious and experienced, but what I admire the most is the trust that her clients have in her’.”
