Skin wound specialist has device approved

Clinical Cell Culture Ltd, the Cambridge-based but Australian-listed skin wound specialist, has had its its ReCell tissue harvesting device approved by the Canada Therapeutic Products Directorate for commercial sales in Canada.Clinical Cell Culture Ltd, the Cambridge-based but Australian-listed skin wound specialist, has had its its ReCell® tissue harvesting device approved by the Canada Therapeutic Products Directorate for commercial sales in Canada.

C3 chief executive, Bob Atwill, said: “We have an excellent distributor in Can-Medica Corp, training has already taken place and we expect commercial sales to commence in July.”

ReCell is a unique medical device that assists plastic, cosmetic, dermatology and burn surgeons in repairing a wide range of skin defects. It is now approved for sale in 33 countries worldwide, including the UK, Canada, Germany, Italy, Australia and Japan.
