Motorsport exhaust tech firm races into St Neots

A startup enterprise which manufactures specialist parts for the motorsport industry has chosen St Neots as the location for its first business premises, agent Barford + Co reports.

SpeedFab, a new company run by director Andeep Dhanjal, a former emissions tester, will operate out of an industrial unit on the popular Steel Close in Eaton Socon.

The precision motorsport engineering and fabrication business specialises in performance exhaust systems for the motorsport industry and also carries out services on high performance vehicles for private customers.

Dhanjal chose St Neots due to the favourable rent prices and road links via the A1 and A428. He said: “I spent quite a bit of time looking for the ideal premises for SpeedFab but as a new business I had to be careful of my start-up costs. The unit is of a good size to accommodate my growth plans for the business.”

Howard Westgate at Barford + Co said the industrial market was particularly active at the moment with premises of this nature being snapped up very quickly.
